The Public Policy Council focuses on issues of national and statewide interest and concern to women business owners. NAWBO actively advocates with legislators and the administration for its positions relative to health care insurance, procurement, and taxation, and more. We work with various coalition partners to monitor concerns relative to technology, social security, education, and the workforce. Opportunity to Get Involved to Impact Virginia’s Economic Development Policy (’09-’10)

The Virginia Small Business Advisory Board has offered their assistance to the next Virginia Governor to help craft an economic development policy and advise him on policies to further enhance economic development efforts as they apply to the small business sector.
