Colleen Marea Quinn, Director & Equity Owner, Locke Partin Deboer & Quinn
Colleen received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1988, and her B.A. from William and Mary. She was honored in 2011 with the Richmond YWCA Outstanding Woman Award for Law & Government, with the 2011 “Hats Off to Women Award” by the ABWA Cavalier Chapter, in 2011 as one of the Top Fifty “Super Lawyers” in Virginia and in 2010 & 2011 as one of the 25 top women “Super Lawyers” in Virginia by Richmond magazine. Colleen’s law practice focuses on family building and re-building the lives of others via her adoption and surrogacy law practice and her personal injury and employment law practice.

Kate Houck, Principal, CommonWealth Concierge
Kate attended college at Boston University where she received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in psychology, and was invited to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She then attended the University of Virginia where she received her Masters of Education in clinical and school psychology as well as her Doctorate in clinical psychology. She completed her clinical internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia and held a post-doctoral position within the Virginia Department of Corrections. Kate brings a holistic approach to her work. She offers a unique, conversational style of gathering pertinent information and makes the entire process feel like lunch with your best friend.

Kelli provides solid business and finance counsel to a wide range of clients. She has a close relationship with many of our entrepreneurial businesses, providing accounting, control implementation, system optimization, profit analysis, strategic insight and counsel. A graduate of Christopher Newport University, Kelli is an active member of the Greater Richmond community.

Cara is an accomplished small business owner with experience in sales, leadership, team building and training. A motivated entrepreneur who is passionate about supporting the local community.  Cara served as the Chair for the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Extraordinary Women’s Committee and has been an active Board Member of the National Association of Women Business Owners in recent years.  In May 2011, Cara was honored as one of “Virginia’s Most Influential Women” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Friends and colleagues know to expect honesty, motivation, accountability and dedication in business and personal relations.

 

 

 

Angie Furbee, Accent Professional Recruiting
Angie was hired at Accent upon college graduation. She quickly became a successful Recruiter, managing the office for seven years before joining the corporate world in outside sales, responsible for a multi-state territory. For over ten years, she consistently proved her abilities by winning President’s Club and Sales Rep of the Year awards. She has a brag book to prove her successes and knows what it takes firsthand to be a top producer!  Ms. Furbee returned to Accent as Owner and President in 2002.

 

 

Carole Timberlake, Founder, CYT Consulting, LLC
Carole founded CYT Consulting in 2009 to offer marketing, client relations and professional development to small Virginia law firms. As a licensed Virginia attorney with a small and large firm perspective, Carole understands the value of your time and the pressures on attorneys to address existing clients’ needs while generating new business. She is a past president of the Metro Richmond Women’s Bar Association and the Virginias chapter of the Legal Marketing Association. Carole received her B.A. from the University of Richmond and her J.D. from the University of Virginia.

Kay has more than two decades of leadership and mentoring experience including service on numerous boards. She has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology as well as her master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Kim Typanski, Owner, Signs Now
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kim started Signs Now Richmond in 2008. Kim assists other businesses meet their marketing goals through signage and large format print technology. Always an advocate for entrepreneurs, Kim has a passion for helping startups seek marketing activities that have leverage, where a small expenditure can have significant impact. A lifelong artist, Kim started her first business in 2001, selling her handcrafted woman’s accessories and art glass beads to local and national galleries and online. Kim lives on a farm in Montpelier, VA.

 

 

 

Wendy Henley, Principal, FM Solutions
Wendy is a Richmond native, and has managed projects in Virginia for 23 years. She earned a BS in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management from Virginia Tech. Wendy is a member of the Richmond chapter of NAWBO, and serves on the board of directors at the North Richmond YMCA. In her free time Wendy enjoys traveling, tennis, and community service. She still wants to enjoy golf, but that remains a distant goal.
