Member Spotlight |  Maggie Collins | MAGGIE COLLINS Maggi is a photographer and owner of Moments by Maggi Photography based in Richmond. She specializes in exquisite bridal portraiture and creative wedding photography. Other areas of expertise include fine portraiture for women, families and corporate clientele.
Maggi Collins is the person behind the camera capturing “photographs you’ll treasure for a lifetime” which has become the mission statement of her company. Ms. Collins earned her degree in fine art from Moore College of Art located in Philadelphia, PA and was a former professional ballerina. Other credentials include years of experience in commercial art and graphic design As a member of the Virginia Professional Photographers’ Association, the Professional Photographers of America and the Richmond Bridal Association, Ms. Collins has established an excellent reputation in the photographic industry as well as a loyal clientele.
Her photographs have been exhibited at the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, MCV Hospitals “Art in the Hospital” and Massey Cancer Center. She currenly has exhibits of her work at Richmond SPCA and The Holiday Pet Barns on the Southside and in Glen Allen. At the Virginia Professional Photographers’ annual conventions her photographs win ribbons which recognize outstanding work by a photographer. She continues her photographic education by attending monthly meetings, seminars, photography conventions and intensive, week long photography courses at an accredited photography school.
